The Town provides water and sewer service where available to Town citizens. New hook-ups require a water and/or sewer tap-on fee.
Requests for new
service should be made at Town Hall located at 109-A N.
Main Street.
Water Service Deposit
Homeowners are not required to pay a water deposit for water service.
However, renters must pay a $120.00 refundable water deposit before service
is initiated and before the water bill is changed into the renteršs name.

The Town of Oakboro contracts with Waste
Management of the Carolinas for weekly residential curbside garbage
disposal. Each commercial business may establish a private contract to take
care of its own needs.
Pick-up is on Thursday mornings beginning at 6:00 am. Residents should place
the carts by the curb on Wednesday evenings. New residents may call
Town Hall at 704-485-3351 to order garbage service or
to report any garbage complaint such as broken wheels or holes in their
container. |
